A community, not an institution — built on the historic Malin Hall estate and run by the K&M Connolly Foundation.
Who we are
The K&M Connolly Foundation is a charitable trust that owns and manages the village on behalf of the people of Inishowen. Every home is let at an affordable rent, and every surplus is reinvested in the estate, the day centre and the grounds.
Residents keep their own front door, their own key and their own routine. Support is close at hand when it is wanted, and quietly out of the way when it is not.
What we believe
- Independence first. Sheltered housing should extend independent living, never replace it.
- Neighbours matter. Shared meals, the oratory and the conservatory keep the village sociable through the winter.
- Donegal welcomes its own. We prioritise returning Irish emigrants who wish to settle back home.
